New Dawn Fades

You may have noticed the new photo on SMBU, the one with some men holding a scarf in the air like it was a bunman’s kite. Well, these were Finnish men in the pub by Underhill after the Barnet game on the last day of last season, and despite being in what Wikipedia calls “one of the three alpha cities on planet earth”, their diseased Scandinavian minds had forced their shells up the northern line to watch the Bees take on Wycombe. Their skilfully toned wives looked on in disgust.

Well the Meat Clinic contingent was insulted by these men from Finland, their functional English stinging our ears. To be frank, we didn’t feel like going on to the pre-arranged pineapple disco in Holloway, OUR HEAD WASN’T IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

But you know what? We went on anyway, as we had a contractual obligation to be there and to not turn up would be akin to BEING A SPOILT CUNT OF THE HIGHEST ORDER.

Sometimes in life you have to do stuff you don’t want to, like selling marmalade in A FUCKIN BUTCHER’S SHOP, but you do it because you have to. Refuse is another word for garbage.
